FAQ

Where do you find your products? I find all my products at thrift/garage/estate sales and thrift shops.

Are all of the products used? All of the products are a mixture of thrifted new, used, and refashioned. Thrifted new means that the products have been purchased from a reseller and they are in a brand new and unused condition with or without the sales tag. Thrifted used means that the products not new and may or may not show signs of use but recognized to still be in a good condition. Most thrifted used items may appear to be new if they have been treated in good condition. Refashioned means that the clothes have been altered by a upcycler/designer/DIYer. If the refashioned/upcycled have been refashioned by me, it will be mentioned in the product description and social media. 

Do all of your used products have stains? Used clothes may or may not have stains. If I see a stain or imperfection, I will leave in the product description. I do not purchase products that are badly stained or have terrible imperfections. Please keep in mind that there may be products that are "imperfect" to most customers but could be viewed as a great product to others.

How do you safeguard private information? I use Webroot security program to protect your private information and use the privacy protection through Shopify. I will not personally give your information to a third party without your consent. If you believe that your personal information could have been used without your consent, please contact me as soon as possible. If I believe that your private information has been exposed without my consent, you will be notified as soon as possible.

How do you process orders? When you have placed your order, I will fill and confirm your payment. Please allow 3-5 business days for payments to completely process and ship. Shipping and sales taxes are included unless stated otherwise. Depending on your location, if you do not pay sales tax, you may have to pay use tax within your state. If you have provided your email, you will be able to track your orders through email notifications and may be tracked through the postal carrier service. I am currently using United States Postal Service. The postal carrier is subject to change at any time.

Do you offer refunds, returns or exchanges? I do not offer refunds, exchanges or store returns, however, I may give you store credit with a 10% off discount on your next purchase for your inconvenience. I cannot offer refunds or accept returns if you don't like what you purchased or simply had a change of heart. It is the customer's responsibility to view the product picture carefully with the zoom feature and read the product description. The sizes of clothes are not equal to each other and it very important that you take measurements of yourself before you buy. Please make sure to read the Refund and Return Policy. When are you available? My online store is open 24/7.For any questions concerns, and suggestions, please email me at unpopularfashion@gmail.com and I will respond within 24 hours.

Do you accept donated clothes? No, I am currently not accepting donations. 

Are you on social media? Yes, follow me on Facebook at UnPopular Fashion Society, LinkedIn as UnPopular Fashion Society, Instagram at unpopular_fashion, and TikTok. I am also on Google and on Pinterest.

Would you consider being a guest content writer? Yes. Email me if you want me as a guest writer or to be featured on any other platforms.

Do you support other creatives such as DIYers, designers and crafters? Absolutely! The main goal is to spread awareness about supporting secondhand fashion. If you have thrifted or upcycled products that you want to share let me know. I'm also available to host DIY classes if interested.

Do you deliver personally to customers? I am currently not delivering to customers personally unless given to a customer at a pop up shop or other events.
